I replaced the innards on the toilet because it was leaking. When I did the plumbing, I put a little secret panel in the floor so I could turn off the water to the bathroom when I work on it. I had it open while I was fixing the toilet.
About an hour after I finished, I heard a faint meow. I looked in all the rooms and opened the closets. I looked in the attic and in the cellar, but I couldn’t find where it was coming from.
I was standing in the hall directly under the bathroom when I hear the meow, loud and clear coming from directly above me. That’s when I figured out what happened. Gracie was stuck in the floor. She wasn’t very upset. I took these pictures a few minutes after I rescued her and she went right back in and I had to coax her out again.
