I also have books on kindle but all of them are technical. Have not tried yet to write something more personal, but I do have the desire to at times. I have three screenplays outlined. One is a Sci-Fi blockbuster type, one is a ghost story and one a romantic comedy.

A screenplay is about 100 pages, but with lots of space so it comes out to about 10,000 to 15,000 words and I could knock off one in a couple of weeks, easily. Perhaps when things settle down, I can write again. For now, there is too much tension because of the job stuff.

I need time to work on my PHP code because I get a couple of hundred a month on that. My websites need attention to get their revenue back, too. Writing, that makes little or no money, is low on my list right now. I find myself thinking about it more and more, though. One of these days I’ll have to finish a story.

I think you should write a screen play or a “treatment” that can be turned into something on TV. There are lots of old trekkies like me that always give a new sci-fi show a shot. If anything the newer ones target too young of a group, so I think there is a market for boomer sci-fi.
