I worked for Lockheed for 15 years. I was never into the whole Military Industrial complex aspect of it, but I appreciated the technology that I saw coming out of the legendary Skunk-Works.

I have a coffee mug with the SR-71 on it. It is my favorite mug. The jet is not only the fastest production aircraft every made, it is a beautiful design. It and it looks fast.
