The garage sale Nikon is a very nice camera, but it is very limited in some ways. It’s about 6 years old and it does not take good movies. It has no sound and the video is limited to 15 seconds. Some day I’ll find a good digital camcorder at a garage sale.
I used it to take some movies of the hives. I included the video below, but as you can see, it is pretty cheesy.
This is a video of the Connie hive. I believe it has requeened and this was the mating dance. I was stung four times taking this.
