A conservative wingnut group named a star at my FreeNameAStar.com website. It not only involved some hateful words about the race of our president, it used foul language.

Normally, I might have ignored this. People are idiots and prove it over and over again. Anyone who expects otherwise has an unrealistic view of human nature. Using obscenities and hateful racial language prompted me to delete the entry. I decided, however to create a disemvoweling program to take all of the vowels out of a star name and description. This leaves the star in place, but makes the entry very difficult to read.

I got this concept from the Making Light blog. BoingBoing is using it now. I am hoping for more idiots to try to make use of my website to fulfill their adolescent power trips. My finger is on the button.
