Hermie
October 16th, 2011Hermie is still with us, but is not really part of the family. He is terrified of me. He is afraid to come in the house, and Erica, because of her back operation, can’t go out and lift him.

Gracie and her Beanie Baby Kitten
September 7th, 2008Gracie has a beanie baby kitten that she carries around and licks and hugs. She cries in a plaintiff meow when she enters a room with it. She takes it outside with her and then brings it back in.

OK OK – More Cat Pictures
May 18th, 2008Gracie broke into the Blue Room. This is a room that Erica is trying to keep “Cat Free” so she can put things there that should not have cat hair all over them. Gracie periodically manages to bust in and sits like a queen as though to say “nyah nyah”.
I took some pictures of the cats roaming about outside.

Here is a dangerous looking Gracie sharpening her claws on the Rose of Sharon bush. She’s killed the other two plants. For some reason cats like Rose of Sharon.
These pictures were uploaded using the Windows Live writer Polaroid option. It makes them look kind of interesting.
Gracie in the Sink
March 31st, 2008Cats seem to like sinks, in fact there is a website with nothing but cats in sinks. Gracie is nuts for water and loves to drink directly from the tap.
Cat Gallery on Photoshop Express
March 28th, 2008I’ve uploaded a few pictures to Photoshop Express, which is Adobe’s new competition to Flikr.
Here is my first Cat Gallery using Photoshop Express. If you can’t get it, let me know.
It is flash based and slow, but the display is nice. I have a bunch more to upload, but there is a two gig limit. I don’t know how close I am to the limit, though.
In other cat news, I have finally tracked down some software to recover all the blog images that I kept on the Panasonic Tough Book. The drive isn’t dead, just badly scrambled. I have found the pictures scattered about and the copying of files is slow. It will be a couple of more days, but I will see about getting the cat pictures somewhere on the web.
Future of the Cat Blog
March 24th, 2008After Archie died, I didn’t feel much like blogging here. I recently made the decision to let the domain expire so that I would not have to pay for it each year.
I received a couple of nasty emails ordering me to keep on blogging.
I can:
1) Let BlogsEyeView.com expire and move the blog to a subdirectory on another domain, where I can continue it if I feel like it. Gooch’s site comes to mind.
2) Just let the blog die without moving it.
3) Do nothing and pay the fees to keep the site running in case I want to start blogging again.

Fewer than 10 comments means that not many people care and I’ll do whatever I want (probably move the blog).
More than 10 comments and I’ll go by the consensus.
