Although I don’t review books anymore it is interesting to see what author’s are writing and sending me. I was tempted to review this one, just to get a free copy. It looks like it might be fun. Two things prevented me. First, there is a small robotic dog, and second the protagonist’s name is Thaddeus J. Styx. These two things are a little too far into “cute” territory for my tastes, but the book still seems intriguing.
If you know a teenager who enjoys a good read, I would suggest this book. It is a novella – long short story or very short novel. It had an honorable mention the WOTF contest, which is not easy to do. There has to be some good writing here.
