My brother Larry and I are going down to BB Kings to see Lance Lopez, Larry McCray and Tyrone Cotton. No blues harp, but there’ll be some blazing guitars. It is just about 30 miles to Time’s Square from my house, but I can’t remember the last time I road down to NYC. Larry and I used to go down to see blues legends like Otis Rush and Albert King, but not so much any more. Staying out until 2AM on a school night is tough these days.
