Over the last few weeks my traffic has been slowly dropping here. I have less than half the readers that I had a year ago. Some of my other sites are growing, but this site is ME. The other sites are work. It looks like things are fading away here.
I read a book on the bus today where the quote “music at the edge of darkness” was used. It is evocative of melancholy, not unlike the diminution of traffic statistics.

What are you planning to do about the decline in popularity? Have a cross-over with another Sci-fi website?
I don’t make money here so I am not all that concerned. This is my fun website. If people don’t like the site then it’s their problem. I would be writing these posts even if nobody was listening.
At the peak I was getting as many as 1,000 people a day. I get around 300 now.
I made the site so it loads a little faster so that might bring back people.
While my page views have gone down, more people have started reading the RSS file so maybe people are checking on the site through the feed or a feed aggrigator like Google buz.
