I have been thinking that a small screen or mobile phone formatted web page might be a good thing. Small format browsers are taking off. After a few minutes of googling, I found a sample page and created a mobile site for gthread.com. I now have to figure out how to add adsense for mobile to the site.
I have thought about this before, but in the days before the iPhone, browsing the web was pretty much impossible. Some websites had mobile versions, but even those where hard to use. Now, with iPhone, the new Blackberry and newer wifi players with big screens, this might just be Charles Forte’s steam engine time for the mobile internet.
