At my FreeNameAStar.com website, I have to watch the star names. I sometimes have to delete stars named by spammers and little boys with potty mouths. Sometimes the dedications are heart breaking. I just got this one:

Dana Dutcher Wheeler {7/3/1979 – 9/10/2006}
This star was named for “Daddy’s Girl” in memory of the beautiful baby she once was…and the beautiful woman she became. Remember when you look into the sky at night…Dana will always be there, watching over you as you watched over her in life. Whenever you remember her, remember that there will forever be “Dana’s Sleepy Star” in the Heavens.

It was upsetting, so I searched Google News and I found this news article.

You might think that I get some comfort by offering my service so someone can name a star, but I don’t. I just feel bad for a young mother and the family that lost her.
