I am receiving strange emails. They are coming through like spam. It is hitting my websites where I have turned on global forwarding. For instance Anyone at Harpamps.com gets forwarded to my gmail spam account which then forwards it to my onebox account. Along the way it passes through 3 spam filters.

the body is:
5556
I received this from:
219.255.130.162 (port=3061 helo=tg.com)
tg.com is garbage. The ip is from Milton Australia and is owned by Apnic.net.
Here’s another one:
From: “Hacksawpowder”
To: “Hacksawpowder”
Subject: 1545453
Body: 969
This one comes a range of IPs owned by Apnic.net also. It hit my JT30.com email forwarder.
Somebody in Australia is broadcasting mysterious messages. Is it a terrorist plot? Is it secret government communications? Is it an alien conspiracy?

I have been receiving this for the past 2 days to different addresses.
Strange………Same subject, body, and addressed to myself from myself.
I just received one on my gmail account also, addressed from myself to myself at a time when I know I wasn’t online. A web search pulled up this thread. A closer look at the header shows the message ID as [email protected]. Looks like it’s just more spammity spam.
Yeah, me and other people also received these. 1. The body is always 5556 or 969. 2. The subjects are various numbers. 3. I thought all came on 6th of June, but some says he received on the 5th. I wonder if it was just time zoning… 4. More interestingly, I received two emails (gmail and an other account) within 1 minute. Other people who received more, also received them approx the same time. 5. It seems only forwarded accounts are affected. 6. So what is this??
I also received two emails with similar codes, in the gmail account and in a portuguese account. The first one was sent by a South Korean IP and the second one was sent by a Portuguese IP They where received with some hours of delay.
The body contains 969 and was addressed from me to me.
I receveid a similar mail (subject 1545453 body 5556) from myself to myself on 6th june..that was my birthday….hmmm strange..
Ya, same thing happened to me… but it can’t be as dentro said because my email address isn’t a forwarded one.

received 2 emails both from myself to myself in 2 different accounts, the 2 accounts that are riddled with spam. subjects were both 455 with the body 5556.
Ha… I got here by various searches for the numbers in the emails. Read my post for the strange coincidences. When I hit your blog, it was a blank page, and I’m posting via the Google cache.
