Eliot Engel – Spammer Scum

I hate spam. I hate it more when our elected officials do it. Here’s another jerk who has lost my vote. Whoever told Eliot that it is a good thing to spam should be fired. It’s harder to be a liberal than ever, especially when idiots fill up my mail box with illegal spam. The no-spam act is there for a reason, but the House of Representatives probably put a loophole in the law to allow this kind of nastiness.

I could not disagree more! Think you have missed the point on this one! They have to get the message out somehow. In this day many people don’t read newspapers anymore. When was the last time you read a newspaper? It is difficult for them to get the information out. E-mail has basically taken the place of the print media.
These guys do not have the deep pockets of the Republicans. I personally much prefer e-mail to an annoying recorded phone, or having my mailbox stuffed full of flyers!

Your hands are hungry for want of knowing.
Your eyes are closed, but still they're showing.
Light the white flags of surrender.
The war is over, the battle's ended.
Like the snowflake in my hand that's melting,
      Can't you feel my love?
Can't? Can't you feel my love?
Waiting to be touched? Can't you feel my love?
Like the sky touches the sea, arising, we will be.
      Can't you feel my love?
Love, can't you feel my love?
