New Barcode Page
I mentioned this before, and I am not sure how many people are interested in this. I am a geek at heart and I enjoy doing geeky stuff like programming barcodes. I have made significant progress and I thought I'd start the search engines to working.
I have gathered information from around the net and I have written PHP code to create a couple of more barcode types. I have now code 128, 3 of 9 and EAN-13 (ISBN) type barcodes on my barcode page.
The EAN code is tricky, but now my barcode reader correctly reads the ISBN code.
I searched until I found free fonts for all of these, but I reworked them so that they produce the barcode better. Some of the free fonts did not work at all until I worked on them. I have a package called FontMonger that my old friend Stan Smith (dead now) gave to me about 10 years ago. I used FontMonger to tweak the fonts.
